ATLANTA —
WSB-Radio's Erick Erickson has disinvited Donald Trump to the RedState Gathering being held in Atlanta.
In his online post Erickson said, "I have tried to give a great deal of latitude to Donald Trump in his run for the presidency."
Trump's removal from the list of candidates set to appear on Saturday comes after comments he made about FOX News personality Megyn Kelly.
In a Friday evening CNN interview, Trump said, "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her whatever."
Erickson calls Trump's comment inappropriate, but also says it is "unfortunate to have to disinvite him".
Several presidential candidates have been seen at the RedState Gathering already including Marco Rubio, Rick Perry, Carly Florina and Chris Christie.
Attendees of the Buckhead event can still expect to see Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush on Saturday.
